Wuaki (currently known as Rakuten TV) is an a video-on-demand streaming service from Spain. Their main competitors include Netflix, NowTV, TalkTalk TV. They wanted to increase the brand awareness in the UK and across Europe.

I was the sole creative on the pitch and flew to Barcelona to present 2 concepts to client alongside our VP of Sales and MD. We split the pitch win with Havas Spain. Ka-ching!

CONCEPT 1: WUAKI FAMILY

The aim is to make Wuaki the fireplace of today’s families. The brand needs a face who is relevant, fun and obsessed with videos and movies — i.e. The Wuaki family.
CONCEPT 2: WHAT IS WUAKI?

Wuaki shows movies in demand. Movies demand Wuaki.
Nobody knows about Wuaki and they need a reason to discover the brand.

A film-related reason to be precise: Wuaki is the unsolved mystery that all greatest movies have in common. The thirst for the answer got out of hands and now everyone is out searching for the unknown Wuaki.
